Chapter 12: An Indescribable Feeling

"This isn't fun. I told you to close your eyes, so why are they still open?"
Xiao Guang didn’t immediately reach to snatch back his precious item. Instead, he cupped Pei Zhuxuan’s head, guiding her to look at him. Feeling a tug at a sensitive spot, he ran his hands down her cheeks and quickly said,
“Time to wash your hair, understand? Nice and clean. Close your eyes, like this. Good. Here, I’ll put the ball in your mouth.”
Pei Zhuxuan finally withdrew her hand, seemingly displeased that Xiao Guang had stuffed the small ball into her mouth. Seizing the moment, Xiao Guang hurriedly stood up and jogged to grab another large towel to cover himself.
What had just happened? Was it because something on his body resembled the little ball that sparked Pei Zhuxuan’s curiosity? Xiao Guang knew well that aside from liking that ball, Pei Zhuxuan seemed to have no other interests.
He scooped water from the pool with a basin to rinse Pei Zhuxuan’s hair, steadying her as she stood. Watching her fair and lovely face, Xiao Guang realized that bathing her like this, sooner or later, reason would succumb to desire.
Shampoo needed to be lathered with a foaming cloth to create bubbles. He slickly applied it on Pei Zhuxuan, glancing at her crooked, ill-fitting panties before deciding to simply remove them. Was he a saint? This was hardly a test of his virtue.
Though Pei Zhuxuan’s body felt cool, the touch was exactly as Xiao Guang had dreamed. Despite his repeated restraint, he couldn’t help but linger a little longer, ensuring every inch of her was covered in foam for a thorough wash.
Fortunately, Pei Zhuxuan kept her eyes closed, giving Xiao Guang a chance to dash back inside and change into swim trunks. The bath towel no longer sufficed to conceal his burning passion, but at least the trunks made it less obvious.
He rinsed Pei Zhuxuan with water, then used the large towel to dry her completely. The strength he had regained earlier was now fading bit by bit. No matter how beautiful Pei Zhuxuan looked, he could not resist the gnawing hunger.
So he dried her quickly. When Pei Zhuxuan opened her eyes, Xiao Guang lifted her and placed her on the couch. From the clothes he’d brought, he found a one-piece animal costume and dressed her in it. Underwear didn’t matter for now; this would do.
“Ah~~~”
Xiao Guang heard Pei Zhuxuan’s voice and saw her sitting on the sofa with her legs raised. What was that supposed to mean?
“Ah~~”
Her legs moved slightly. Xiao Guang thought hard—this probably wasn’t an invitation for something strange, so the issue must be with the legs... no, the feet.
“Really, after a bath, you still want to wear socks.”
He put a pair of small white socks on Pei Zhuxuan’s feet. She reverted to her old self, sitting on the couch playing with the ball. But this time there was no teether; sometimes the ball squeaked when she bit it.
Speaking of the teether, Xiao Guang hurried back to the poolside, took off his swim trunks, and searched the pool for a while before finally finding it. He rinsed it thoroughly in the water and returned to Pei Zhuxuan’s side.

“I mean, you need to wear this. I’ll put it in your mouth, and you’re not allowed to bite my hand.”
Instead of roughly pinching Pei Zhuxuan’s cheeks as before, he gently held her chin and brought the teether to her lips. Her red eyes glanced at it, and she opened her mouth obediently. Smoothly done. Xiao Guang looked at her and found himself genuinely puzzled by the zombie’s behavior—it was obvious Pei Zhuxuan increasingly understood his intentions.
The villa had an underground preservation room. People boasted about having double-door refrigerators at home, but this underground storage actually had two doors. Xiao Guang wandered inside and found not only food but even fresh cherries.
Seeing how fresh they remained for so long, Xiao Guang couldn’t resist popping a couple into his mouth. Enjoyment had its levels. He had thought his family’s wealth as an overseas student was respectable, but it now seemed trivial.
After eating two cherries, a chill crept over him. It must be the refrigeration system running. Noticing the vent’s location, Xiao Guang suddenly realized something—there was still electricity here.
What a fool he was. Earlier, he had mentioned the pool’s disinfection and filtration system was still running but hadn’t noticed the presence of electricity.
Leaving the preservation room, he returned to the upper villa. Looking at the dusk sunlight outside, Xiao Guang gently pressed the light switch.
“Click~~”
The overhead light flickered on. Xiao Guang tilted his head to gaze at the glowing ceiling lamp and couldn’t help but shout, “Power! We have power!”
Pei Zhuxuan, sitting on the sofa, was startled by his shout. She looked up at the lamp, then ran over to Xiao Guang, grasping his arm with both hands and biting down.
Xiao Guang’s arm was exposed, wearing only swim trunks, but he didn’t feel pain. Looking down at Pei Zhuxuan, she seemed to be biting his arm but without much force. Rather than biting, it was more like gently holding it in her mouth.
“Don’t be scared. It’s my fault for yelling. Good girl. We have power today, I’ll make you something delicious.”
Xiao Guang wanted to remove the teether to see if she really would bite him, but seeing her red eyes, he abandoned the idea.
“Today, we’re having fish. I haven’t eaten fish in ages.”
He put Pei Zhuxuan back on the sofa. She seemed to sense his excitement and watched him until he turned on the television.
Xiao Guang sat in front of the TV. There was no signal, but DVDs could be played. He casually grabbed a stack from a nearby cabinet.
“Let me see what’s suitable... ‘Train to Busan’? Definitely not. ‘Tokyo Love Story’? Too old. This one’s good—SBS’s annual Song Festival. You can watch at your leisure. I’m off to cook the fish.”

“This salmon is 100% Norwegian. The flavor is incredible. Try my cooking, don’t just stare at the TV. Open wide~~”
No response. Xiao Guang had to sit beside Pei Zhuxuan, gently press her cheek, and she opened her mouth naturally. Thinking it over, he removed the teether and then fed her the salmon.
Pei Zhuxuan’s eyes remained fixed on the television. Even when asked to open her mouth, her gaze didn’t waver as she tilted her head back.
“Chew it yourself. If you don’t chew, I’ll have to shove it in.”
It was like talking to a wall. With fish in her mouth, Pei Zhuxuan continued watching the TV. Xiao Guang glanced at the screen—what year was this Song Festival? Why was Tara on it?
Xiao Guang first enjoyed a good meal himself. The water used for cooking was filtered and disinfected; he had no worries. He also brewed a pot of tea for himself.
Full and satisfied, Xiao Guang looked at the remaining food and then at the now-warm tea.
“It’s time for you to eat. I don’t want you to get sick from malnutrition. Open wide.”
Pei Zhuxuan ignored him, so Xiao Guang pinched her cheeks. She opened her mouth, and he spoon-fed her.
After a while, she had to swallow, which reminded him of a few days ago. Pei Zhuxuan choked slightly and resisted. This time, Xiao Guang didn’t use his foot to hold her down but kept talking incessantly like a chatterbox. He gently pressed his arm across her neck, yet Pei Zhuxuan didn’t struggle as fiercely as before.
Xiao Guang felt his arm hit the remote and shifted sideways. Suddenly, Pei Zhuxuan’s small hand, which usually exerted delicate strength, grew stronger. She simply stretched out her arm and pushed Xiao Guang aside.
The sudden move made Xiao Guang tumble off the sofa armrest. Annoyed, he stood up and glared at Pei Zhuxuan.
“Hey, I’m trying to feed you. What’s wrong with you?”
Pei Zhuxuan didn’t respond. Her red eyes fixed firmly on the TV. Xiao Guang turned to look at the four people on the screen and heard the voice from the television:
“One, two, three, happiness! Hello everyone, we are Red Velvet~~!”
At that moment, Xiao Guang’s anger vanished. Looking at the spoon in his hand, he thought maybe it was better not to feed her anymore today.
