Ghost Night adjusted the camera on his phone and then bolted back in a flash.

"3!"

"2!"

"1!"

"Cheeeese!"

Ghost Night retrieved his phone to take a look, his face beaming with joy. "These turned out amazing!"

Li Xingyue took the phone and checked the results. They were indeed quite good; the photo had captured all eight of them in their entirety.

From left to right:
Asura, Tyrant, Nun, Li Xingyue, Succubus, Tian Tian, Blood Moon, and Ghost Night.

Everyone wore a smile, and everyone's attractiveness was simply off the charts—though, of course, that "everyone" definitely excluded Li Xingyue.

The remaining members took turns passing the phone around, all agreeing that the pictures were fantastic.

"Brother Yue, let's take one of just the two of us!"

Ghost Night looked at him with a hopeful gaze.

"Oibk!" With that, he threw an arm around Ghost Night's shoulder.

Li Xingyue was, of course, more than happy to oblige. Although he hadn't known Ghost Night for very long, he was quite fond of this well-behaved younger brother.

Li Xingyue stretched out his arm, pointing the front-facing camera at the two of them.

"Cheeeese!"

"There, let's see how it looks."

"Oh, wow, this is really nice! Gotta say, little bro, your looks could give my peak days a run for their money!"

Ghost Night didn't speak; he just managed an awkward, forced smile.

"Huh? Young Master, I don't get it. You're obviously so utterly ordinary, yet where do you get the confidence?"

Asura strolled over, puffing on a cigarette with a cheeky swagger.

In a fit of righteous indignation, Li Xingyue grabbed him by the collar, locking eyes with a fierce glare. "Kid, what kind of gibberish are you babbling?"

"Do you have any idea that you've crossed my bottom line? Fine! I, Li Xingyue, hereby officially announce that I am breaking up... breaking up... breaking off our friendship with you!"

The onlookers nearby had expected him to build up to some grand punchline, but it turned out to be a massive letdown!

Asura threw an arm around him. "Oh, look at the rebellious young master! Come on, give us a smile. One, two, three, brains!"

Li Xingyue flashed a smile instantly, then dropped it just as fast, speechless. "Bro, it's supposed to be cheese!"

No sooner had he finished speaking than his shoulder was re-embraced. He turned his head to find Tyrant, dressed in suit trousers and a white shirt. At a glance, he looked like a ruthless corporate CEO; upon closer inspection, he was indistinguishable from a triad boss running the show.

"Come on, Xingyue. You took a picture with that big idiot, so I gotta get in on the action too. Three, two, one, cheese!"

After taking the picture, Tyrant and Asura went right back to their drinking contest.

Ghost Night, meanwhile, sat on a lounge chair by the pool, engrossed in a comic book. He was reading with the utmost intensity, giggling as he went.

The contrast was absolute. Just that morning, he had been commanding tens of thousands of zombies in a siege, and now here he was, quietly reading *Aishua*.

It felt a bit like a mafia boss spending all day handling syndicate affairs, only to go home and hug his pink Barbie doll to take a beauty sleep.

As he wondered whether he should go take a nap—he really had drunk way too much today, and his head had been spinning—someone grabbed him again. He turned around to find Blood Moon smiling sweetly at him.

"Little Yuanyuan, where are you off to?"

"Oh, I just went to take a dump."

Blood Moon froze instantly. "Are you out of your mind? I asked where you were going!"

"Ah, right. You can also call me by my nickname, Eddie Peng."

Li Xingyue's specialty was replying with utter nonsense to any text he read. After all, he knew Blood Moon's personality—she had a temper like a stick of dynamite, and whenever she came looking for him, it was never for anything good!

Blood Moon's sweet smile slowly faded, replaced by a cold and fierce expression.

"Do you believe that I can punch you so deep into the wall they won't even be able to dig you out?"

"Alright, alright, fine! Spit it out, what's up?"

"Oh, actually, it's nothing much. Just thought the weather was lovely today, birds chirping, flowers blooming, truly refreshing..."

"Get to the point! The point! The point!"

"Tian Tian and I want to play Fight the Landlord, and we're one player short."

"Tch, is that all? Why didn't you just say so earlier? Like I would've turned you down?"

Blood Moon immediately put her smile back on. "Hehe, then let's go."

"Not going!"

"Huh? Damn it! You just said you'd agree!"

Li Xingyue wore a helpless expression. "It's not that I don't want to, it's just that you guys always cheat! Last time there were four of us, and barely a minute into the game, I got cleaned out until I only had three cards left. How the hell am I supposed to play with that?!"

"You tell me how to play with two threes and a four! And I was the Landlord, for crying out loud!"

"Oh, quit whining, we won't cheat this time!"

After a barrage of "sweet-talking persuasion" from Blood Moon, Li Xingyue was finally dragged back to the table. By then, Tian Tian had already shuffled the cards and was sitting there resting her chin on her hands, daydreaming.

As for the Nun and the Succubus, they were still locked in their drinking battle, though both were thoroughly plastered now, their eyes glazed and cheeks flushed pink.

"I'm telling you two, why didn't you stop them? Look at the state they've drunk themselves into!"

Tian Tian gave a haughty snort. "Damn it, do you have any idea why they're having a drinking contest in the first place? Keep nagging and I'll twist your head right off!"

Li Xingyue felt like crying; he couldn't beat them in a fight, and he couldn't out-argue them either.

He tapped on the table. "Alright, that's enough. Any more and you two are going to ruin yourselves. Sister Nun, put the glass down."

The Nun looked at Li Xingyue with a drunken gaze. "Why should I put mine down first? When she puts hers down, I'll put mine down!"

With no other choice, Li Xingyue turned to the Succubus, though he didn't dare look her in the eyes. Remembering what happened last time, his gaze locked strictly onto her generous cleavage.

"So fair! Ahem, cough, anyway, Sister Succubus, stop drinking. Any more and you won't even make it back to your room."

To his surprise, the Succubus reached out and grabbed his hand, looking at him with a shy expression. "Alright, little brother. Since you're begging your sister, she won't drink anymore."

*Phew*—it was finally over.

Li Xingyue had just started to breathe a sigh of relief when the Nun suddenly slammed her hands on the table and stood up, furious. "Slut! Where do you think you're putting your hand?!"

The Nun strode right up to Li Xingyue, shoved the two of them apart, and stared at his right hand with a look of utter heartbreak. "It's ruined, Yueyue, your hand is dirty!"

"Don't worry, though. We won't keep this hand anymore. Sister will chop it off for you!"

With that, the Nun began looking around left and right, as if searching for a tool.

"What the fuck!"

"Sister, you really are drunk. Is that even something you can say? If you chop it off, how am I supposed to reward myself in the future???"

"Blood Moon! Tyrant! Asura! Someone grab her, damn it!"

Yet no one around responded to his cries.

He glanced back at the Nun, who was still earnestly searching for a tool. It seemed she really intended to do it!

Damn it, this wouldn't do!

Li Xingyue's brain raced at lightning speed before he steeled his heart, wrapped his right arm around the Nun's waist, scooped the back of her knees up with his left arm, and hoisted her into a bridal style carry.

"Offense taken, Sister Nun! You're going back to your room to sleep right now!"

Carrying her in his arms, Li Xingyue bolted straight into the villa and sprinted toward the second floor.

"Damn, this kid is hardcore!"

"You said it! After all, he is the Young Master!"

Tyrant and Asura watched the retreating figures, exchanged a glance, and clinked their glasses together. "To the Young Master!"
