Xining paid no attention to those things; what concerned her was whether the mission was accomplished.
Finally, a voice came through: "Two days left!"
"What?" Xining could hardly believe it—the mission still wasn’t completed!
She had already slapped An Xiyan twice, smack, smack.
A voice sneered, "Fool, where have you ever seen someone bullying others but ending up more hurt themselves? A fool damages the enemy a thousandfold but harms themselves eight hundredfold. You’ve outdone yourself in stupidity. If it weren’t for An Xiyan’s protagonist aura being weak, you, as a supporting character, would have fallen to your death down the stairs."
"The mission’s not done yet. Remember, it’s okay to be slapped in the face, or to fight back—just make sure you hit flesh. Preferably in front of everyone, and you must not get hurt again. The day after tomorrow is the graduation ceremony, your last chance. Otherwise, just wait to die!"
"Wait to die… hold on, hold on, what do you mean?" Xining seemed to catch a key phrase and immediately pressed for more.
"Fools who fail to complete their mission are useless and should be erased, eliminated, or put to death—whatever term you prefer, it means one thing: death! Prepare well this time, don’t fail again." The voice faded away.
What, what—if the mission isn’t completed, she’d be erased?
Xining nearly fainted. Was this some kind of joke?
If they had told her earlier, she would have slapped An Xiyan twice right from the start. But then again, if she had slapped her then, the host might have been expelled immediately.
No, she couldn’t just wait to die! The next day, Xining insisted on returning to school, intending to make use of every single day rather than dragging things out until the last moment.
But Li Ma refused. The school was fine; why go back? Better not to attend the graduation ceremony tomorrow either. The diploma could be picked up any time or even sent by courier.
"No!" Xining was determined to seize this last opportunity and coaxed sweetly, "Mommy, graduating high school is the most important moment in life. I have to go. I want to step onto the stage, receive my diploma from the principal’s hand. Otherwise, my life will feel incomplete! Please, Mommy!"
Li Ma, worn down by her persistence, finally agreed, reasoning it made sense. After all, high school graduation only happens once in a lifetime.
On Saturday, the high school graduation ceremony was held in the grand auditorium.
All the graduating seniors and their parents were present.

At that moment, the most conspicuous figure was the eldest daughter of the Li Group, Li Qingyu. She wore her graduation gown and sat in a wheelchair, with a cane resting beside her.
Her ankle was sprained, swollen like a steamed bun, wrapped in thick bandages. Although she wore the graduation cap, a bandaged seam was faintly visible on one side of her head. Her smooth face bore faint scratches from abrasions.
Xining felt so bitter—after all this, the mission was still unfinished, and this was her last chance today. Once the graduation ceremony ended, everyone would scatter, making it even harder to intercept An Xiyan afterward.
She was still pushed onto the stage in the wheelchair by her classmates. Each student took their diploma from the principal and stood to the side for a group photo.
Parents sat below, holding phones and cameras, capturing this important moment of their children.
After receiving her diploma from the principal, Xining looked at An Xiyan, who had already taken hers and stood aside.
"…Last chance. Otherwise, wait to die!"
Xining took a deep breath, then pushed the wheelchair forward toward An Xiyan. Although her arm hadn’t dislocated, it still ached from the bruising. But she gritted her teeth—she had to complete the mission!
An Xiyan stood there, stunned, watching Li Qingyu approach slowly in her wheelchair.
The auditorium fell silent, and even the principal, who was announcing graduates’ names, sensed something wrong and turned to look.
Xining reached An Xiyan, took down the cane from the wheelchair, and under everyone’s gaze, raised it—damn, why was the cane so heavy? Aren’t there lighter ones? Who gave her such a heavy cane?
She didn’t care, as long as it could be used to hit.
At this point, no complaints—finishing the mission was paramount.
Xining strained to lift the cane, everyone watched as it slowly rose, their hearts seemingly lifting as well… When she swung the cane hard, its tip grazed An Xiyan’s neck before she lost strength and the cane dropped.
Everyone stared at the cane lying on the floor; the auditorium was so silent that even a pin drop could be heard.
Panting heavily, Xining glared at the bewildered An Xiyan. A faint red mark appeared where the cane had brushed against her neck.
Then that cold voice rang clearly in Xining’s mind: "Mission complete. Return immediately!"

The world spun, darkness engulfed her vision… When she could see again, she was back where she started—on a barren planet without a single blade of grass.
No clouds, no sunlight; above stretched a black sky dotted with countless stars.
Xining exhaled deeply. It was finally over!
"What an idiot!" the voice sounded, tinged with disapproval. "Never seen someone so dumb."
Xining blinked. "There were others before me?"
"Hmph," the voice snorted coldly. "According to the rules, watch what happened next."
A screen appeared before Xining like a projector, replaying the events that followed…
After being hit, everyone was stunned—even An Xiyan froze in place.
In front of everyone, Li Qingyu had struck An Xiyan. Though injured, Li Qingyu’s blow was not severe.
Tears welled in An Xiyan’s eyes, but before they fell, Li Qingyu collapsed. To outsiders, she seemed to have fainted.
"Qingqing~" Li Ma suddenly stood and rushed up.
Li Qingyu had indeed fainted, causing chaos on the stage. An Xiyan stood there, tears brimming, stunned by the disorder, forgetting even to cry.
When someone faints, they must be taken to the hospital. Prince Long suddenly lifted the unconscious Li Qingyu and, with his entourage, hurried toward the parking lot.
At the hospital, the doctor said it was nothing serious—probably just weakness and overexcitement causing the faint.
Since graduation had arrived, Li Qingyu’s assault was a personal grudge. But An Xiyan had no recourse. The red mark on her neck faded within a day, and the principal no longer protected her. To file a complaint would require a lawyer, but the principal had long held a grudge against her. Spending money on a lawyer for a fading red mark? What a joke.
