Chapter 133: You’ve Tamed Them All!

Xu An’an widened her beautiful eyes, wishing she could kick Jiang Li back into the room. That wretched man! Hadn’t she told him not to come out?
Xue Shengnan was also a little bewildered.
If she remembered correctly, hadn’t the two of them just come out of the same room?
But she hadn’t forgotten that the man who had gone to the magazine office yesterday was definitely not the same man standing before her now. After all, this one was much more handsome.
“Uh, I’ll go wash up first.”
Sensing the awkwardness, Xue Shengnan tactfully retreated to the guest room.
Xu An’an gritted her teeth. “What are you doing?”
Jiang Li took a step forward and pinned Xu An’an against the wall, bracing both hands on either side of her head and trapping her in his arms.
He looked a little displeased. “Why wouldn’t you let me come out? Am I that embarrassing?”
Xu An’an was speechless.
If someone could have the famous Second Master Jiang as her boyfriend, anyone would flaunt it shamelessly and make a grand announcement to the world.
But what kind of relationship did they have?
Her expression darkened slightly. “Move.”
Seeing that Xu An’an seemed angry, Jiang Li straightened and watched her walk toward the kitchen before following after her in long strides.
“She knows Jiang Yu?”
“Jiang Yu came to the magazine office to see me yesterday.” Xu An’an told Jiang Li what had happened the day before.
A faint trace of murderous intent flashed through Jiang Li’s eyes.
He sent a message to Assistant Wang before going to the kitchen to help.
Once breakfast was ready, Xu An’an noticed that Xue Shengnan still hadn’t come out. Since Jiang Li was the owner of the villa, she carried breakfast into the guest room for her.
Xue Shengnan had already washed up, but she didn’t know whether she should go out, so she simply stayed in the room.
“You and he are the real couple, aren’t you?”
Xu An’an paused. “Why would you say that?”
Xue Shengnan gently stirred her black coffee. “Those involved are often blind to the truth, while outsiders see it clearly. You treat yesterday’s man and today’s man very differently.”
Xu An’an neither confirmed nor denied it.
“Jiang Yu is an irredeemable scumbag. Of course I treat him differently. If he dares to pester me again, I’ll beat him up.”
“That’s not what I meant. I… Fine, I don’t even know how to put it.” Xue Shengnan felt that she had drunk too much the previous night, and her brain still wasn’t functioning properly.
She believed Xu An’an simply hadn’t realized it yet. One day, she would understand.
The two of them ate breakfast in the room.
Afterward, Xue Shengnan asked Xu An’an to go out and see whether Jiang Li was still there. She had been working for nearly ten years and had met all kinds of people.
Yet she had never encountered a man with an aura as formidable as Jiang Li’s.

He was clearly someone no one should provoke.

Xu An’an carried the empty bowls out and discovered that Jiang Li was already fully dressed, sitting on the sofa and watching the morning news. When he saw her come out, he said, “I’m heading out.”
“Isn’t it the weekend?”
“Yeah. I have something to take care of, but I’ll be home tonight.” Jiang Li walked over to Xu An’an and leaned down slightly. “I want to ask you something.”
Xu An’an nodded, confused.
Jiang Li’s expression was unusually serious. “How should you comfort a woman when she’s angry?”
Xu An’an froze. She never would have expected Jiang Li to ask her such a question.
Could Murong Yan be angry because of what happened last night?
Then why had he come to ask her?
She turned around and began washing the dishes, replying sullenly, “I don’t know.”
Jiang Li raised an eyebrow. He could tell that Xu An’an herself was angry at the moment. “If you were angry, how would you want your boyfriend to comfort you?”
“…”
Xu An’an ignored him and concentrated on washing the dishes.
Each time she finished washing a bowl, Jiang Li would take it from her, dry it with a cloth, and put it into the sterilizing cabinet.
She glared at him. “Weren’t you leaving?”
“You still haven’t answered my question.”
“But I never said I would answer you!”
“If you answer my question, I’ll grant you a promise. No matter what you ask for, I won’t refuse.”
The man standing before her was none other than the famous Second Master Jiang. If an ordinary person could obtain a promise from him, they could soar to the heavens overnight.
Although Xu An’an was reluctant to answer, his offer made her calm herself down.
“If he were my boyfriend…”
“Wait. What did he do wrong?”
“I don’t know.” Jiang Li looked completely innocent. He truly had no idea why Xu An’an had suddenly become angry. Could she really be settling the score over what had happened the night before already?
The corner of Xu An’an’s mouth twitched violently. “If you don’t know, how would I know?”
“For example, you’re angry for no apparent reason right now. Can you tell me why?”
Jiang Li was utterly serious.
But in Xu An’an’s eyes, he was simply teasing her.
Unwilling to say more, she angrily waved a fist at him. “Fine, I’ll tell you. If my boyfriend makes me angry, I’ll beat him so badly that even his own mother won’t recognize him!”
The next second, Jiang Li caught Xu An’an’s hand and brought it toward himself.
“Then hit me.”
Xu An’an stared at him in a daze.

What was that supposed to mean?
As luck would have it, after waiting and waiting, Xue Shengnan finally decided to come out and take a look. She immediately saw a young couple flirting with each other.
To be honest, she was unbearably envious.
Xu An’an pulled her hand back with a flushed face and glared at Jiang Li again. “I have no idea what you’re talking about. If you’re leaving, then hurry up!”
Jiang Li could only let the matter go.
“I’ll bring you something delicious tonight. If there’s anything you want to eat, you can message me.”
“Got it. Hurry up and go!” Xu An’an pushed Jiang Li toward the staircase, afraid Xue Shengnan would feel awkward. But Jiang Li suddenly turned around, kissed her on the lips, and only then went downstairs.
Leaning against the wall, Xue Shengnan teased, “Youth is wonderful.”
Xu An’an covered her face.
What could she possibly say?
When Xue Shengnan learned that there were many cats downstairs, all of them strays, she hurried down at once.
“They’re all strays? Why do they look so much like house cats?”
Xu An’an shrugged.
What else could it be? The key was that Jiang Li had money!
Not only did he feed them the finest food and drink, but every few days, a professional veterinarian came to examine the cats and give them their shots.
Their lives were more comfortable than most people’s.
“Does he know you have a fiancé?” Xue Shengnan held the question in for a long time, but eventually couldn’t keep it to herself.
She felt that Xu An’an was very happy with Jiang Li, like a shy young woman who was well protected. In contrast, whenever she was in front of Jiang Yu, Xu An’an became fierce and aggressive, protecting herself with all her might.
“If he doesn’t know, you should tell him soon.”
“Don’t miss your chance with him.”
Xu An’an gave a strained smile and reached out to hold the fat cat in her arms. “Actually… he’s the uncle of the fiancé I beat up. The legendary Second Master Jiang.”
“Meow!”
The cat in Xue Shengnan’s arms let out a cry and leaped away.
Xue Shengnan hurriedly apologized. She had been so shocked that, while stroking the cat, she had accidentally pulled too hard and yanked out several tufts of fur.
Xu An’an didn’t know whether to laugh or cry, but she could completely understand Xue Shengnan’s reaction.
She brought over a cat treat to soothe the little tabby.
After a long while, Xue Shengnan finally processed the revelation. She gave Xu An’an a thumbs-up.
“You’re incredible. Truly incredible. That’s Second Master Jiang we’re talking about!”
“And you actually tamed him!”
