Chapter 103: On the Importance of Supplies
“Sun and moon shine, golden transformation!”
With a loud shout from Fland, a fierce golden light suddenly burst forth from Fland, Liu Erlong, and Yu Xiaogang. The golden glow spread outward, forming a radiant golden triangle centered on their positions. Beneath each of their feet, intricate patterns also appeared.
“Is there really a three-in-one Soul Martial Fusion technique in this world?”
Dugu Bo’s eyes flickered with surprise. It was the first time in his life he had witnessed three people performing a unified Soul Martial Fusion technique.
However, this only briefly startled him. If the three who executed this fusion were all Soul Saints, he would indeed need to be cautious.
Unfortunately, among the three, there was one worthless individual who hadn’t even broken through level thirty. With such a liability dragging them down, this Soul Martial Fusion technique could, at best, reach the level of a high-ranking Soul Douluo.
“Luo Sanpao!”
At that moment, Yu Xiaogang, whom Dugu Bo considered the greatest weakness of this fusion, let out a fierce roar. The boar-like Luo Sanpao leaped several times, landing precisely at the center of the golden triangle. Immediately, a pillar of golden light shot upward, and under its radiance, Luo Sanpao floated into midair.
“Dugu Bo, you will pay the price for your actions!”
With Yu Xiaogang’s furious roar, sixteen soul rings simultaneously detached from the three men and all landed on Luo Sanpao at the center. In an instant, the floating creature’s body began to swell rapidly, and it let out a strange dragon’s cry to the heavens.
Amplified by the soul power of two Soul Saints, the once-abused top-tier beast soul finally revealed its true form—Luo Sanpao’s body expanded, covered with golden diamond-shaped scales. Its short, stout limbs transformed into sharp dragon claws. Under the sunlight, its body reflected a dazzling brilliance, radiating an aura of supreme nobility and sanctity. This was the true visage of Luo Sanpao—the Radiant Holy Dragon.
The golden dragon circled in the air, its enormous, copper-bell-like eyes fixed unerringly on Dugu Bo, gleaming with bloodthirsty light.
“To summon such a giant beast!”
Dugu Bo’s expression shifted slightly. Dragon-type soul spirits inherently suppressed snake-type soul masters like himself, causing him some discomfort.
Yet, as a titled Douluo, Dugu Bo remained proud and unyielding. With a fierce shout, he entered his soul martial state, and nine soul rings—two yellow, two purple, and five black—rose from beneath his feet.
Facing the Radiant Holy Dragon’s oppressive aura, Dugu Bo dared not underestimate it. His seventh soul ring, representing his spirit’s true form, instantly ignited. A jade-green light burst from Dugu Bo’s body, and in the next moment, his figure vanished, replaced by a gigantic emerald-green serpent flicking its tongue as it stared down the golden dragon.
The Radiant Holy Dragon was the manifestation of Yu Xiaogang’s soul spirit Luo Sanpao. Fland and Liu Erlong mainly provided soul power support, eyes closed and oblivious to the outside world. Among them, Yu Xiaogang—the one with the lowest soul power—was paradoxically the dominant force within the Radiant Holy Dragon.
Yu Xiaogang’s beloved disciple had been mangled beyond recognition, and his idol insulted. Now, Yu Xiaogang wished nothing more than to flay and dismember Dugu Bo. With a mighty roar, the Radiant Holy Dragon’s soul power surged wildly. The dragon opened its mouth, releasing a flash of golden light that struck like lightning, hurtling toward Dugu Bo’s emerald serpent form.
Dugu Bo was not to be outdone. The giant serpent flicked its tongue, releasing a shimmering stream of green venom that streaked toward the Radiant Holy Dragon’s attack.
The golden and green lights collided midair with a tremendous explosion. The resulting soul power shockwave radiated outward, nearly knocking down nearby soul masters of the Nine-Star Hall whose soul power was comparatively weak.
As the dust settled, the Radiant Holy Dragon spread its wings and lunged like a meteor toward Dugu Bo.
Unyielding, Dugu Bo’s massive serpent body sprang from the ground to meet the attack. The dragon and serpent clashed fiercely in midair, their golden and emerald auras colliding with thunderous sounds.
Though the Radiant Holy Dragon held the upper hand in soul spirit type, Yu Xiaogang’s weakness meant their fusion barely reached the level of a Soul Douluo. Meanwhile, Dugu Bo had not only overcome the toxin’s backlash problem but, nourished by elixirs crafted by Yang Wudi, his soul power cultivation had advanced by leaps and bounds. He was now at level ninety-three, nearly level ninety-four.
Thus, Dugu Bo firmly held the advantage in this battle. However, since the emerald serpent could not fly, whenever the situation grew dire, the Radiant Holy Dragon would swiftly ascend to the heights to regroup.
At that moment, Yang Wudi, having heard the commotion, arrived belatedly. This mad alchemist had long been immersed in the immortal herbs within the Ice-Fire Dual Eye, leaving most matters outside to Dugu Bo. Had Dugu Bo not lingered so long this time, Yang Wudi wouldn’t have bothered to move.
“Old poison fiend, don’t get entangled with that giant dragon. Target those three—break their Soul Martial Fusion!”
