The amusement park in Lihua County was quite simple, with only a handful of attractions: a single bar, double bars, a slide, swings, bumper cars, and a playhouse—just a few small entertainment facilities. Directly across from the park, however, a new swimming pool had been built. Zhang Ye had some memories of this pool; it had opened for about two years before closing down, a casualty of the city government’s relocation and the subsequent development of the tourism industry. Thinking back, he’d been a frequent visitor in those days.

After buying the tickets, Zhang Ye led Wang Mengzi straight into the swimming pool. By now, Wang Mengzi’s emotions had completely stabilized—at least on the surface, she seemed perfectly fine. Occasionally, she even joked with Zhang Ye, looking quite relaxed.

They had brought their own swimwear, and Zhang Ye had already put his on before arriving: just a pair of fitted swim trunks. Standing to the side, he peeled off his outer clothes right then and there.

“Aunt Wang, what’s wrong? Hurry up and change,” he urged. It was still morning, so the pool wasn’t crowded—mostly parents with children, and a few young people. On such a hot day, the coolness of the water was irresistible.

“There are so many people… You want me to change right here?” Wang Mengzi tapped Zhang Ye on the head, her cheeks flushing red, and suddenly felt a twinge of regret. She had always been rather conservative and had never worn revealing clothes in front of others. Times might have changed, but the idea of undressing in public was still wholly unacceptable to her.

Zhang Ye quickly realized the reason and said, “In that case, I saw a changing room inside just now. Why don’t you change in there? It’s right behind this door—not far at all. Oh, and could you put my clothes in a locker too? It’s not convenient to leave them out here.” He pointed to a spot behind the wall as he spoke.

He had brought a backpack for his clothes and belongings, but with people coming and going, it would be difficult to keep an eye on it all the time. He promptly handed the bag to Wang Mengzi. From his memory, there were always lockers here, though you had to pay extra for them.

“Zhang Ye, what are you doing here?” As he waited, a voice suddenly sounded beside him.

He turned around and was surprised to see Guo Xiangqing, whom he’d just met yesterday. “You’re here too?” Zhang Ye was taken aback. She hadn’t mentioned coming to swim yesterday.

Of course, perhaps it wasn’t something a girl would mention, or maybe they simply weren’t close enough yet for her to tell him. Either way, it wasn’t strange that he hadn’t known.

“My aunt was supposed to come with me, but just as we got to the entrance, she got a call and had to leave. I was so annoyed! But since I was already here, I decided to come in on my own.” At this moment, Guo Xiangqing was wearing a snug swimsuit paired with cute Mickey Mouse trunks. Her tall, slender figure was simply a stunning sight. She complained as she spoke, leaning forward slightly, creating a view that almost made Zhang Ye’s nose bleed on the spot.

The close-fitting swimsuit did nothing to conceal her fair skin.

“Oh, well, perfect timing. Let’s swim together. Do you know how to swim? If not, I can teach you.” Zhang Ye smiled, forcing his gaze away from her captivating figure.

She was just too alluring—a tall, pure, and lovely girl, beautiful beyond compare. He hadn’t noticed it so much when she was dressed, but now, seeing Guo Xiangqing in her swimsuit, he found it difficult to restrain himself. A rush of heat welled up from his heart and surged downward between his legs.

Zhang Ye shifted awkwardly, but it did nothing to stop the little Zhang Ye from making its presence known, gradually rising to attention.

“Damn it,” Zhang Ye muttered, his face flushing red, so embarrassed he wished he could crawl into a hole.

“Sure! I don’t know how to swim yet,” Guo Xiangqing replied quickly, not noticing Zhang Ye’s discomfort.

Suddenly, a startled cry came from behind the wall. Zhang Ye’s brows knitted together—he recognized Aunt Wang Mengzi’s voice immediately. His expression changed as he turned to Guo Xiangqing, telling her to wait there, and hurried over.

Sure enough, not far ahead, a short, shifty-looking young man with a leering face was eyeing Wang Mengzi, a mocking grin on his lips.

Zhang Ye’s face darkened as he rushed over and shoved the man aside. “What do you think you’re doing?” he demanded, anger surging within him.

He had only wanted to cheer up Aunt Wang, and now she’d been harassed, which infuriated him.

The young man glared fiercely at Zhang Ye before slinking away in defeat.

Zhang Ye said nothing, his brows still furrowed. From the man’s look, it was clear he wouldn’t let this go easily. Still, Zhang Ye had been training his body lately, especially with the Five Animal Frolics, which made him more agile and stronger. On top of that, he’d learned some martial arts, so he wasn’t afraid.

“Aunt Wang, are you alright?” Only after the man left did Zhang Ye turn back to her.

“I’m fine,” Wang Mengzi replied, shaking her head. But soon she frowned, gave Zhang Ye a light smack, and scolded, “What are you staring at?” One pervert gone, another rascal appeared.

“Ahem, I was just surprised by how good you look, Aunt Wang. I couldn’t help but stare.” Zhang Ye was becoming increasingly uninhibited in his speech, casual flirtations slipping easily from his tongue.

But to be fair, Wang Mengzi’s figure truly was exceptional. She was wearing a purple swimsuit that hugged her body, accentuating her curves. Her fair skin was dazzlingly exposed, and her shapely figure and beautiful face made her the most eye-catching woman in the pool—no wonder she attracted so much attention.

“Who is this?” At that moment, Guo Xiangqing walked over and glanced at Wang Mengzi.

“This is my neighbor, Aunt Wang. We came together. Aunt Wang, this is Guo Xiangqing, a high school classmate of mine—I just happened to run into her here,” Zhang Ye introduced them smoothly.

“Hello, Aunt Wang,” Guo Xiangqing greeted sweetly, then pulled her toward the water.

“Zhang Ye, hurry up! Teach me how to swim!” she called from the shallow end, where the clear water just covered her knees, reflecting her pale legs. Zhang Ye felt his composure slipping again. Especially since, right beside him, stood Wang Mengzi—mature, beautiful, her figure no less striking.

“Alright, coming,” Zhang Ye replied quickly, jumping into the water. If he stayed any longer, he’d surely embarrass himself.

“Teach me too!” As they moved to deeper water, Wang Mengzi suddenly spoke up.

“Huh?” Zhang Ye was momentarily surprised, then quickly nodded. “Of course, no problem.” In his memory, Aunt Wang could swim—had he remembered wrong?
